COVID-19 Information Page

The Mountain House Community Services District continues to closely monitor the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation and work with our local, county, and state partners to remain current on new information as it becomes available.

In order to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 and slow the spread of the virus, PHS continues to recommend that residents stay home as much as possible, avoid unnecessary interactions with people who do not live in your household, practice social distancing (6 feet apart), frequently wash hands, and disinfect items and surfaces. For COVID-19 testing sites and information, visit www.sjready.org.

A new $29.3 million Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) will be available to San Joaquin County residents beginning March 15, 2021. The ERAP will help qualified tenants address unpaid rent, utilities, and prevent eviction, and assist landlords with their financial obligations.
The City of Stockton has also established a Rental Assistance Program; therefore, those living within the city limits of Stockton may apply at www.stocktonca.gov/renthelp. Those living in any other cities within San Joaquin County or unincorporated County areas may apply at www.sjgov.org/covid19/grants.

Exciting News from the Mountain House Library

With the continued decline of positive COVID-19 infections in San Joaquin County, the Library seeks to return to its full operational schedule with a staged approach. We will begin by opening the libraries at 25% capacity or up to 56 people inside at any one time. The first stage will be to provide access to the lobby/curbside service early, and then the last 4 hours of each day (Monday-Friday), we'll invite people in for in-person browsing and computer use beginning March 22, 2021. Library administration will assess the expansion of hours to the pre-COVID schedule.

The hours for the first stage, beginning Monday, March 22, 2021, are as follows:

Monday Lobby/Curbside: 10 am-6 pm Browsing/Computer Hours 2pm-6pm
Tuesday Lobby/Curbside: 10 am-6 pm Browsing/Computer Hours 2pm-6pm
